Welcome to the official website of the "Kaptivating" Kappa Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. We are one of the first chapters chartered in the Notable Northeastern Region and have proudly served the New York City and Harlem community since July 28, 1936. Kappa Sigma is a multi-generational chapter of "Kaptivating" women representing various educational and professional backgrounds.

For over 85 years, Kappa Sigma has maintained an unwavering commitment to service, sisterhood and scholarship. Since inception, we have offered a number of enriching programs that benefited our youth, the underserved, and underrepresented. We invite you to join us in our programming efforts which are based on our sorority's five essential programs; Operation Big Book Bag, Project Cradle Care, Swim 1922, Sigma Youth Symposium and the Women’s Wellness Initiative.
In addition to our essential programs , we locally support food pantries, youth empowerment organizations, voter education, and awarded hundreds of college bound students with scholarships just to name a few.
